This takes place of course where the last one left off, WHICH YOU NEED TO SEE FIRST. Anyway, the world is destroyed, Mr. Gear and Clippy broke up, Mr. Gear is drinking and has a bomb, what can happen?

It's kind of awkward commenting on this series when I don't really know what's going to happen. All bets are off here, as even characters Clarence said he LIKED are apparently being done in here (Mr. Gun's demise was certainly ironic). Literally ANYTHING can happen now.

But I'll do some miscellaneous comments.

There's lots of the over the top crazy fight sequences. Loved the League of Evil's fighting the army (Uncle Vending Machine's taking out so many of the tanks with just one Pepsi bottle is great), Mr. Gear's initial confrontation with Officer Badge, Phoney and Charlene's finding Clippy, the 'What Things Would Have Been Like' subversion of the cliche, and the surreal sight gag of Clippy stabbing Guitar with a musical note. Clippy's suddenly becoming a kickass action hero is a surprise considering that some of those people have beaten him bloody every time he's run across them before, but there's a good explanation for it.

Since I have no way of knowing where this is going, I don't know whether to laugh, cry, smile, or be depressed. I haven't been around in a while, but I still check in from time to time.

Comments on the latest episode...

Oh, well. Clippy gave it a good try (and so did Cheesus, without whom he'd have never made it that far), I'll say that for him. But it looked like there wasn't much left of the Earth for him to save at that point anyway. Between Dr. Disc's nuking the rest of the world, the re-formed League of Evil destroying the hospital, the jail, and the rest of the town, and all the other acts of destruction, Earth had pretty much been destroyed anyway.

The fight scene was really, really, crazy. One of the most insane fights ever in the show. And the music really enhanced the scene greatly, adding to the 'this is the big one, folks. The fate of the world hangs in the balance' atmosphere.

While I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next, I'm still kind of bummed that the show (as we know it, anyway) is ending. The show on a whole has certainly been flawed, but still had a lot of fun and entertaining moments.

Is today that last day of a new episode ever?

Bit weird that, i havent thought of Gear and Clippy for a good...well, whenever my last post was until today!

Been working hard i see clarence.

Well, I might as well start by saying what I thought of the ending...

Loved it!

I was kind of worried that you were ending things on way too much of a downer ... but the ending more than made up for it! You had hinted that things were going to improve for our protagonists by the end of the storyline, but it was hard to see how. Of course, there was some deus ex machina involved, but in the context of a crazy show like this, that's certainly okay.

I'll probably post longer, spoiler-filled posts later on. But for now, I'll say this. I loved how you wrapped it up neatly, but not TOO neatly (people remember what Mr. Gear did, and so he's not all that popular to put it mildly, Dr. Disc is still insane). Loved the 'quadriplegic horse' bit, Wolf Blitzer's series of interviews, and the whole 'On the Road Again' sequence which made for a good curtain call for our cast of characters.

And I also loved the 'special thanks' credits.

I'll probably stop by again with more comments later. But all in all, I'd say you did a great job with the wrapup.

Thanks a lot Chris, glad you liked how it ended.

It still leaves opening for a new series which is about them being rich and Cheesus having no powers.... maybe someday... but doubtful.

Yeah, it looks like Cheesus is going to be living a double life, between the mortal and supernatural.

I'd have to say the funniest parts were Mr. Gear's severe drinking problem. Seems like he would've gotten poisoned at some point.

That was one of the most bizarre battles I've ever seen. Once you've taken out the Sun, you've taken out life as we know it. But then, they were fighting on the sun, so anything was possible.

Oh, and anytime anyone had sex in this series was hilarious. Can't decide which instance was best (probably Clippy and Charlene).

Liked how the series wrapped up. That was some crazy adventure they will never forget.
